Weekly Lesson Program
With a strong focus on developing confident, knowledgeable, and well-rounded equine enthusiasts, Belle Wood proudly incorporates the structured curriculum established by the Ontario Equestrian and Equestrian Canada Rider Levels into each of our weekly lessons. This progressive framework ensures that riders not only build strong technical skills in the saddle, but also gain a deeper understanding of horse care, safety, and horsemanship, creating a solid foundation for long-term success in the equestrian world.
Lessons are available for students aged 7 and up, and we provide flexible options including group, semi-private, and private sessions to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Each lesson is carefully structured to ensure a balance of skill development, enjoyment, and personal growth.
Our programs are open to riders of all experience levels, from complete beginners to novice and advanced students. No matter where you are on your riding journey, Belle Wood is committed to helping you grow, improve, and fully enjoy the rewarding experience of working with horses.
Lesson Information
Our lessons are booked by the month in sets of four.
Belle Wood does not run lessons on the 5th week of each month.
Make-up lessons are available*.
We offer private, semi-private and group lessons. If there are 2 or less riders at a group lesson the lesson will turn into a 30min Semi/Private lesson.

From Clinics to Horse Shows, Belle Wood has a full-circle approach to the programs we offer, giving every level the opportunity to grow their skill set. Whether you are just starting out or a more seasoned and advanced rider, Belle Wood offers clinics with leading professionals and show opportunities to challenge and give new perspectives for every level.
