With a focus on developing well-rounded equine enthusiasts, Belle Wood incorporates the curriculum established by the Ontario Equestrian and Equestrian Canada rider levels into our weekly lessons.
From first-time students to accomplished riders, Belle Wood offers programs to fit the needs of each rider!
Our lessons start at ages 7+, we offer group, semi-private and private lessons for all levels.
Open to beginners, novice and advanced students.
Weekly Lessons
4 Group lessons-$325.00
4 Semi-Private Lessons- $400.00 (30min)
4 Private Lessons -
$455.00 (30min)
Our lessons are booked by the month in sets of four. Belle Wood does not run lessons on the 5th week of each month.
Make-up lessons are available*.
We offer private, semi-private and group lessons. If there are 2 or less riders at a group lesson the lesson will turn into a 30min Semi/Private lesson.
Beginner Packages

8 Week Program- 1.5hr sessions $895.00
Starting a new sport can be tricky- there is a lot you need to learn!
Our beginner packages are designed to help new riders learn everything they need to know to get their horse groomed, tacked up and ready to lesson as well as understand the parts of equipment used to ride.
These packages aim to make riders ready for group lessons by mastering starting, stopping and steering the horse undersaddle.

Belle Wood is thrilled to offer students the Equestrian Canada Learn to Ride Level Program with Coach Ali Sponagle Keliher.
This nationally recognized program is designed to give riders structured goals, build solid horsemanship skills, and recognize your progress with official Rider Level certifications.
Achieving your Rider Levels not only sharpens your riding and horse care knowledge, but also sets you apart for future opportunities—whether you’re pursuing coaching certifications, competitive riding, working in the equestrian industry or simply want to measure your growth as a rider.

From Clinics to Horse Shows, Belle Wood has a full-circle approach to the programs we offer, giving every level the opportunity to grow their skill set. Whether you are just starting out or a more seasoned and advanced rider, Belle Wood offers clinics with leading professionals and show opportunities to challenge and give new perspectives for every level.
In addition to clinics, Belinda also enjoys taking the show team to new venues and experiences both local and international to give a complete education in North American hunter/jumper showing.
