A Legacy of Excellence

Established in 2008, Belle Wood Equestrian Centre has cultivated a reputation for excellence in the equestrian community. Under the guidance of owner and seasoned equestrian Belinda Logan, the centre has expanded its horizons, participating in esteemed competitions across North America, including the Silver Series, Trillium Circuit,  The 'A' Circuit,  and showcations to Florida and WEC Ohio. Belinda's philosophy centers on the joy of the sport, prioritizing horsemanship and the well-being of the horse above all else. Together with her husband, Patrick, and their three golden retrievers—Daisy, Duchess, and Duke—the Logan family ensures that Belle Wood remains a welcoming haven for both riders and horses.

Comprehensive Riding Programs

Belle Wood offers year-round riding lessons tailored to children and adults, accommodating beginners, novices, and advanced students. Belle Wood's programs are meticulously designed to align with the curriculum established by Ontario Equestrian and Equestrian Canada, ensuring a structured and progressive learning experience. For younger enthusiasts aged 3 to 7, the Lil' Riders program introduces foundational horsemanship skills in a fun and engaging environment. These 1.5-hour sessions focus on building confidence around horses and ponies, teaching basic grooming, tacking up, and balance exercises, culminating in a lead-line walk.

The success of Belle Wood is attributed to its team of dedicated and certified coaches, all registered with Equestrian Canada and trained in first aid. The diverse coaching staff caters to a wide spectrum of riders, from those embarking on their first equestrian journey to seasoned competitors aiming to refine their skills. Each coach brings a unique set of skills and experiences, contributing to a rich and supportive learning environment.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

Spanning 56 scenic acres in the tranquil hamlet of Greenwood, Ontario, Belle Wood boasts top-tier facilities designed to enhance the riding experience. The centre features well-maintained stables & multiple riding arenas.

Engaging Camps and Events

Beyond regular lessons, Belle Wood hosts a variety of camps and events aimed at enriching the equestrian experience. Seasonal camps, including summer and March break sessions, offer immersive opportunities for riders to deepen their skills, forge new friendships, and create lasting memories. Additionally, the Belle Wood organizes the Grass Roots Schooling Show Series, providing riders with a platform to showcase their riding in a supportive and educational setting.
